Our Client is looking for individuals that provides a range of support services for Young and Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Conditions.
As a Residential Support Worker, your main purpose will be to assist service users by teaching life skills and encouraging independent living. You will be required to offer a high quality service to Vulnerable Adults, where you are able demonstrate your commitment to care including services which specialise in supporting people with conditions such as autism and behaviours. You will be assisting residence to lead independent and fulfilling lives; the people you support are at the heart of all we do. A big part of your role will be supporting people to do their favourite things and try new activities.
Across our clients services you will support people to do various activities such as bowling, going to the cinema and on days out aiming to provide a truly person centred service, based around each person’s needs and wishes, regardless of whether the support is provided in the community and in residential care homes, or in the person’s own home.
It is essential for successful applicants to possess a minimum of one years’ experience within a Support role. Possessing training relating to Support would be beneficial but is not essential. Relevant training can be provided in order to develop your professional knowledge and assist you within your role.
Interviews and relevant training will be held at our head office in Battersea, London.
